Hockey Canada’s High Performance Programming is a National Team identification process which allows athletes and coaches the opportunity to receive exposure for possible future National Team participation.
The High Performance Program begins at the Provincial Level and those athletes and coaches chosen to have the potential to compete at the National and International Level will have the opportunity to advance to National Programming.
Athletes and Coaches receive their introduction and first experiences with the High Performance Program through their provincial branches. They will have the opportunity to compete in the following age categories:
Male Under 15
Male Under 16
Male Under 17
Female Under 15
Female Under 18
At the National Level, athletes and coaches will be vying for the right to represent Canada on the following teams:
Regional Men’s Under 17 Program (Pacific, Western, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic)
National Men’s Under 18 Program
National Men’s Under 20 (Junior) Program
National Women’s Under 22 Program
National Women’s Senior Program
